Hayman Island

Our most recent project was the iconic holiday destination of Hayman Island.  This resort has long been the destination of the upper market of the resort industry. The recent cyclones that have devastated the North Queensland coastal areas also took their toll on this resort. The owners decided that after the damage caused it was time to upgrade the resort. Our role in the upgrade was to provide roof access and safety systems for the use of the maintenance staff, as there were presently none installed.
HSPS designed and installed systems that were appropriate for their needs and to meet current National legislation and regulations. HSPS installed SALA evolution static line systems, Juralco aluminum walkway systems and aluminum access ladders to allow for safe access to all roof edges and all plant and equipment located on roof areas.

At the completion of the installations, HSPS arranged to hold information and assessment courses on the Island to show the relevant staff how to safely use these systems and also to attain their nationally accredited Working at Heights accreditation certificate.
